This is the Tom Hartman Program. Welcome back. Tom Harbin here with you. Tucker Carlson is probably one of the

more toxic members of the Fox lineup. He's lost a lot of advertisers as a result

of his basically naked racism. This has been his stick for years and years and years.

Tucker, you know, he's a smart guy, he's a young guy.

He knows how to manipulate the media.

His father was the CEO, as I recall,

or one of the most senior executives at the Corporation for

Public Broadcasting for years and years. You know he grew up very wealthy or

what relatively and has you know positioned himself as the young smart right

winger and apparently he's the Trump whisperer there's been some really interesting analyses done by a number of reporters.

The piece that I'm looking at here summarizes Jonathan Swan over Axios.

He routed up a bunch of these things.

Tucker Carlson saying, for more than a month, mobs of violent crazy people have roamed this country terrorizing

citizens and destroying things.

And then Donald Trump in his 4th of July speech said,

angry mobs who try to tear down statues of our founders to face our

most sacred memorials and unleash a wave of violent crime in our cities.

Right. First of all the mobs have nothing to do with violent crime in our cities.

Secondly, if you want to call them mobs, you know, citizens protesting.

Secondly, our most sacred memorials.

These are not memorials, by the way,

to the soldiers who died in the Confederacy.
