Summary

In the second day of our series on renewal, today we’re going to invite God to renew our minds. Our minds are the gateway to our emotions, decisions, and perspectives. How we see the world around us, the assumptions we live with, the lies we believe, and where we choose to focus our attention, make all the difference in our daily experience. May God guide each of us down the path to renewing our minds in his presence, and through his word today, that we might experience a greater measure of abundant life in him.

Our Scripture for today comes from Romans 12:2, and today's worship is Sound Mind by Melissa Helser.

Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Matthew 11:28

0:59.0	People tell you who you are and what you should do based only on their limited perspectives.
1:05.0	You also have a very real enemy who hates you, working to convince you that you aren't worth love. You're good at nothing,
1:12.7	and you'll never amount to anything. But God, because of his incredible love for you, has given
1:18.6	you the Holy Spirit and His Word. He's given you the ability to renew your mind to the truth
1:23.8	of how he sees you and how he feels about you, the truth of who you really
1:27.6	are.
1:28.9	Every day you have the chance to experience the much needed renewal of your emotions, perspectives,
1:34.6	and beliefs.
1:36.0	Every day God longs to speak the truth of your identity through His Word and Spirit.
1:41.1	So let's look today at the power of renewing our minds and how we can consistently experience
