Bismillah, Inshallah,

in our series in this month of Ramadan titled The Remedy,

where we are discussing the Quran as Shifa.

The Quran as a solution for our problems and the challenges that we face as an umma.

The issue that we're going to be talking about today,

and inshallah discussing the Shifa, the remedy, the solution to that particular problem,

is the problem of envy, jealousy and envy,

which in the Arabic language is referred to as al-hazad.

And al-hazad is defined as wishing that a blessing be removed from someone else.

That is not just the fact that someone admires what someone else has.

Imam Ghazali, he actually talks about this,

and he said that admiring what someone has,

being inspired by what someone else has achieved

or what someone else has acquired, being motivated by that,

being inspired by that is called Gipta.

And that's not problematic.
