On the morning of June 25, 1979, 911 dispatchers in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania received a call from an anonymous mail claiming that there was a vehicle in a motel parking lot where the woman, inside the trunk,

who, according to the caller, appeared to be sick. When police arrived in Swatard Township at 5.30 a.m.

and approached the vehicle, they quickly realized that the woman inside the car was

not sick. In fact, she wasn't even alive and hadn't been for nearly 24 hours. The mystery woman

was lying in the trunk of an abandoned Plymouth, completely nude, bound with chains, and showing

signs that she suffered from abuse prior to being killed.

Her autopsy also found traces of what appeared to be sand between her toes.

And when finished, the coroner determined that her cause of death was likely a morphine overdose.
