My name is Caleb and today I'm joined by

Dr. Scott Keith, Adam Francisco and Rod Rosenblatt. Today's episode, we are going to be

summarizing the series that we have spent basically the entire late winter and early spring doing,

which has been the history of the Lutheran

Reformation. If you're just listening for the first time, this is a great opportunity to

jump back to the beginning. We started with an episode that I think was titled The Origins

of the Reformation. We started with some proto-Reformation history and background, and Adam actually did a, I think it was 30 or so minutes

where you just explain sort of why the Middle Ages

isn't necessarily the dark ages

and how we got to fill, you know,

like how we got theologically to where Luther was.

And so we started off right before the Reformation, and now we've made it.

Last episode, we ended with the Book of Concord.

And I think it wouldn't, we, Dan Van Voris was here, and he talked about how he uses the

30 years of war as the book, the final bookend when he was teaching it.

And that's what we sort of decided on today.

So today's episode, we're going to do a brief overview of 30 years war, just real quick.

And then we're going to go back and we're going to look and say what were the major sort of points through the whole series.

What documents or dates can we really look at?

And we can tell people who just hopped in

maybe what episodes they can skip through

...
