And you know what? You've had a rough day today. So I want to talk about a sport that you absolutely love. What's that? News has come out that raining Kentucky Derby winner, Golden Tempo will not run in the Preakness Stakes. I told you that Monday. Yeah, you did predict that. But so is this a big deal or no big deal? No, no big deal. Why is that? Well, not to me. It's not. I mean, the triple crown, first of all, the triple crown now, it's totally Fugazi because they've bred stability out of horses. There should be more time. I've said for years now, the triple crown should be the derby in the first Saturday in May,

the Preakness first Saturday in June, and the Belmont should be Fourth of July weekend, the first Saturday in July.

Equal spacing made for the modern horse, and I also believe the only horses that should be allowed to be in these races are the 24 that line up. The 20 that are in the

race, the four that are also eligible. There shouldn't be any dive bombers allowed to just dip into a

race when you didn't run before. That's not the measure of the champion. That's ridiculous. Golden

tempo, it's just he doesn't need a shorter distance. He'll thrive with even more ground. So he ran a huge race. They did. You don't bring him back and run in three weeks. You go to the Belmont, you run the mile and a half. You might win the damn thing. No, I think it's what's right for the horse. And I think ultimately, I don't go into it ever expecting a triple crown. No one this year felt like there was a

triple crown horse either. Let's be very clear. Like you have a better idea in certain years. Hey, we got a

couple special things here. This year wasn't that. There were a bunch of five, six to one. You had a

horse, you know, for instance, emerging market ran twice in his life. No horses won off two races since 1883. Yet that horse was damn near the morning line favorite. That tells you what kind of year it is. No, not a big deal. Okay. So yeah, Triple Crown, not a big deal in horse racing anymore. Not to me, because I've seen it a couple times in my lifetime. I think when there was the 40-year gap for American Pharaoh and then we saw Justify do it a few years later. I've seen it. I mean, I didn't know if like an owner or trainer is like, yeah, I want this trophy. It's a massive deal, but bottom line is this. Yeah, now I can charge whatever I want. Yeah, but the horse dictates it. And ultimately, you got to do right by the animal.

And you got to plan this outright.

Otherwise, you won't get anything else out of him.

Like Golden Tempo still has major races ahead of him that will include or but are not limited to.

Look, late summer, the Travers, you've got the Breeders Cup, you have the Belmont Stakes.

I mean, right there are three races, all worth seven

figures plus a piece, plus can let, you know, add to your legacy that, yes, at the end of the year, if you win one or two of those, now all of a sudden somebody's offering you $25 million, $30 million for your horse versus you want to be, you know, some greedy doorknob and you go run the preakness and the horse runs like garbage or blows out and now you're on the shelf for
