It starts like most childhood memories do.

With a new house, a strange neighborhood, and a family trying to stitch itself back together,

but buried beneath the routines of school mornings, barking dogs,

and bedtime television, something else was watching. They say some children are just more sensitive,

tuned to the frequencies the rest of us can't hear. But what if that sensitivity is a beacon?

Tonight we bring you the story of a boy who didn't go looking for the paranormal,

but who may have been born with a gift that called it to him anyway.

It began with cold hands, unsettling dreams, and flickers

of shadow just out of frame. But what followed went far beyond creaking floors and flickering lights?

Was it a demon, a spirit, or something that attached itself to him long before the family even

moved in.

I've never really told anyone the whole story, not like this.

Maybe because people don't believe me, or maybe because talking about it makes it feel too

real.

But I've listened to your show long enough to know, I'm not the only one who's gone through something like this.

I was around seven when we moved to that place, Red Willow, Missouri. Small town, barely a blip on

the map. The house wasn't anything special. Just a single story with three bedrooms and a creaky back porch.
