Mike Schmidt, if you're going for like the energizing, exciting hire for a fan base, you're

getting it with Dusty May. And that's, that's what I was, I was surprised on that they actually

got him to come here. And it's kind of surreal even though the mavericks haven't

announced it officially yet um i'm waiting to see those details and presser and all that but

the second thought i had was it kind of reminded me of like a like a portion of a song

it's gonna be me yeah It's gonna be me.

I got a list and I checked it twice.

And I'm not as concerned as I was earlier in the day after I've gone through Dusty May's resume and everything. I did the breaking news episode talking about, you know, his whole background and where he came from and all that kind of stuff. But we want to talk about how Dusty May changed the draft for the Dallas Mavericks. College coach is taking a leap. But let's start here because this is like putting together the brain trust for the Dallas Mavericks.

Now we have the president of basketball operations and alternate governor and Masai Jir.

You have the GM and Mike Schmitz. You have now Dusty May like you have now the brain trust.

And we've had different iterations of brain trust for the Mavericks where it was Donnie Nelson, Rick Carlislowe mark cuban and then it was like mark cuban nico harrison and jason kid and then it was you know uh

it was like jason kid plus i guess uh michael finley plus ricardy and now the maps have completely

flipped it all over masay giri dustyiri, Dusty May, and Mike Schmitz, and this starts like a new era for the Dallas Mavericks, Isaac. Yeah, I mean, it's, I mean, if you're, if we want to go Marvel terms, it's kind of like, hey, they're trying to build, they're building their Avengers. Now, Tom will tell if they're actually the Avengers or they're the Eternals.
