viz and sean we're kind of going to do one of our more free flowing sort of theory conversations today

that's something i sort of pitched to you. I've seen a lot of

conversation, a lot of chatter on Twitter and elsewhere, a lot of ways that people are talking

about the 2023 season takes that are being formulated. And I think there's just a little bit

of a misunderstanding still about what the 2022 season was and how these macro trends.

I think it's one of the biggest storylines going into 2023 fantasy football.

So I'm really excited to get your thoughts on it.

We often talked about not trying to overpredict what offenses might look like, being aware of uncertainty, seeking upside almost

at all costs, just sort of knowing that circumstances can break right for players in ways

that are sort of difficult to see in advance. But I also think there is maybe too much of a focus

on player profiles right now across the fantasy industry and not enough focus on what some of

these offenses actually are or could be as a result of the ways that the game has evolved,

the ways that defenses were playing in, you know, cover two shells, all these things that we

talked about last year. I think it's very likely we're going to see a lot of that again in

2023 for reasons we'll get into.

You have to understand the motivation from the defenses and from the

offenses and what they're trying to accomplish.

But I mean, the NFL as a history is a sport that goes through ebbs and flows.
