My name is Michael Gormley, Gomer in the middle there, and I am joined today by Dave the Beachbum Van Vick.

How are you doing, Dave?

Oh, yeah, I'm the beach bum.

There's piles of snow melting outside my window right now, and you guys are in Sarasota, Florida. And it's nice. You admitted to me that your kids are in another room and you don't care about it. No, they're in another apartment. There's a difference. Oh, even worse. They're not even in this building. Not even in the building. That's kind of awesome. So we are, the Gormley family is on, who's we?

Is on mission. I'm doing a parish mission here in Sarasota, wonderful church, incarnation, Catholic

Church. And I was invited down, I can't remember about nine months ago. And we got the ball rolling and

started talking about doing a parish mission.

Then my father-in-law reached out to my beautiful wife, Shannon, and was like, hey, you want to go to the Daytona 500?

And it turns out it's the next weekend.

So I said, what if we drive from Houston to Sarasota did the three-day parish mission, then go to Universal Studios

for two days, and then go to the Daytona 500. Then I looked at ticket prices for Universal Studios

and said, what if we stayed an extra day at Sarasota and then drove to Daytona? So that's what

we're doing. So this is how crazy it was. I did a principal's retreat for the Diocese of Austin three hours away. So to drive out there, crash that night, in the morning, I gave four 45 minute-ish talks. In a morning. That's a lot of going on. And then got in my car at 445 and drove home hung out with the kids for

like an hour hour and a half me and chanin went to bed because we're old woke up at four o'clock in the

morning she drove me to the airport i flew to grand rapids michigan did the cherish marriage not

coffee dinner yeah dude it went so well. It was awesome. I heard it was great. It was awesome. I kept, who'd you hear from? I got, I got people all over. You do with people all over. And so I did that event and it was awesome. The bishop was there and I sat next to him. I was super nervous and he just kept making these.
