So Leslie, can you tell my audience who you are and what you do?

Sure.

Leslie Tain, I'm a financial attorney.

I've been practicing in the area of consumer and business debt resolution and alternatives to bankruptcy now for 25 years.

I work with individuals, consumers and business owners related to financial challenges,

including all different kinds of debt, credit cards, student loans, merchant cash advances, lines of credit,

basically anything that's relatively unsecured.

So why would someone need your services?

There's a host of reasons why people come to me.

So on the student loan end, obviously there's a lot of confusion surrounding student loans,

so to understand what types of loans that they have, what options they would have,

the differences with private versus federal student loans, and on the regular debt end,

anybody that's challenged in meeting their financial obligations, maybe they are behind or they've been sued,

or they can't meet those obligations, or they want to restructure those types of debts.

That's why people come to, or if they just want to understand their debts and how it fits into their lifestyle.
