Have you ever wondered why certain friendships suddenly ended?

and actually protection. See, not every goodbye is a loss. Sometimes it's God's strategic protection.

In Proverbs 1921 in NIV it says many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

Here are five reasons why God removes people from our life.

Reason number one, they are holding you back from God's purpose.

An example of that is Abraham and Lot in Genesis chapter 13.

When Lot departed, it allowed Abraham to

actually fully see the promised land. In fact, the word Lot means veil. And it was after Lot was

gone that the Lord spoke to Abraham and he said, lift up your eyes and begin to walk in this land

that I promised you. And I wonder how many people in our life are like Lot.

When they are removed, we begin to see clearly of what we need to do.

And so trust God's leading, even if it's painful.

Pray for God's clarity to see God's greater purpose in the removal of some people.

The second reason why God removes people in our life is because their season in our life has ended.

Now, that also can come in as a painful process. For example, we think of Paul and Barnabas.

They had a disagreement in Book of Acts chapter 15. And this disagreement
