So, okay, so let's look at the data.

According to an Oxfam study, S&P 500 C.O. pay rose 26% between 2024 and 2025,

while the average hourly earnings for private sector workers rose just 1.3% in real terms,

meaning C.O. pay grew 21 times faster than workers' wages in the U.S. alone.
