0:31.4	Of all the things we could name this moment why is it called the presentation many

1:00.8	it'll also unlock for us so much about our spiritual life, our relationship with Jesus,
1:06.4	and it's going to shed light on the great season, liturgical season that's coming
1:11.1	around the corner. Yes, I hate to be the bearer of bad news.
1:14.4	Lent is coming. Yeah Lent is it's really soon my friends and it's not bad news it's
1:19.8	actually good news it's a gift that the church gives us each year this season of Lent.
1:24.7	And I'm going to share with you some connections between this feast of the presentation, which kind of marks the end of
1:30.4	one kind of period in the church where we're thinking about the coming of Christ in
1:34.5	advent, his birth in the Christmas season, and then his childhood in the beginning of
1:39.5	his public ministry in these early weeks of ordinary time in the church's season.
1:44.2	It kind of reaches a height here at candle mass
1:46.4	at the feast of the presentation.
