Bravo, Bravo, back on the pod to talk all things, Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which just

started their final cast trip up the season to Greece, and they're still talking about the

plain stuff. We had slightly different perspectives on what went down on this week's episode, actually,

which made for a great chat.

And we also touched down on Beverly Hills overall.

We recorded this before we had seen the second episode,

so no chat about the latest episode of Beverly Hills.

And we also talked about Jen Shaw's release from prison this week

towards the end of the conversation. And this week also had a big follow-up to the Summer House

trailer in that Kyle Cook released a statement in response to the clip of Amanda Batula, his

wife, saying in the trailer for season 10 that he had slept at a fan's apartment and gotten

home at 6.30 in the morning. We're going to see the context around that in season 10, but he released a statement to People magazine that said, there's no excuse for staying out as late as I did, but I want to be clear that I did not sleep at a fan's apartment. I was at an event that Amanda chose not to attend, which moved to a bar and then to an after party. I don't use anything to keep myself wired. So I think I ended up

falling asleep on a couch and suddenly it was almost 6 a.m. Do I regret the situation? Absolutely.

But that's the truth and full extent of what happened. So I think that he released that to squash any

speculation that he slept at a fan's apartment because he was cheating on Amanda, right?

Like, I think that was probably the goal of it.

And I guess it maybe accomplished that, but he also kind of negated what he said at the beginning,

which is that he did not sleep at a fan's apartment.

And then he says, but I ended up falling asleep on a couch at a fan's apartment.

So those are two directly contradictory statements. Again, I think that he's trying to say like, no, I did not sleep. I did not spend the night there. But I do think the statement was a little bit ill-advised. And it's a very unusual statement to put out. I mean, I don't remember the last time somebody on Bravo has put out a statement after a trailer came out to like give more context to the situation or
