0:35.0

So that works out very good for people with an obsession with numbers and patterns. I guess like myself.

0:41.0

Anyway, it's probably not most of you. I think people like me are the minority that like pay attention to stuff like that. Anyway, we're going to do a good one today.

It is a just jack show. We're going to have about the real green revolution starting in your own backyard. And how it's a bigger thing than just saving the planet, right?

0:57.0

We're going to talk about how this is actually the best thing for the individual, the best thing for the community, the best thing for the environment as well. But it's also about revitalizing economies, rebuilding communities.

1:17.0

I wouldn't say everybody in this space right now. Everybody in the like when I started back in 08 doing this show, you had to kind of push the idea of community on people.

1:30.0

People wanted survival groups, but not community. A group was like you and your brother-in-law and you're going to get this bunker in Montana, right?

1:52.0

We were looking at August, but Nicole sauce wants to be there and has a commitment in August. So we're probably going to move it up to July rather than out and push it up against the big TSP workshop of the year.

2:04.0

So if you want to start kind of gauge and whether or not you can come, it will be in Dallas. It's going to be like a three hour party.

2:11.0

I people came to the 10 year from like Chicago and stuff like that. I don't expect anybody to do that, but if anybody's thinking about it, I'm going to at least throw out kind of the range somewhere probably about mid July, definitely after the 4th of July holiday.

2:24.0

Anyway, nothing to do with today's show. We're going to revitalize things. It's always kind of off on that side tangent.

2:30.0

You had to push the idea of community. People didn't want community. They wanted their solo or group.

2:36.0

And over the years, I think more and more understanding about the real nature of the long emergency that we're really dealing with, which is the degradation of Western culture,

2:49.0

the strain on resources, ridiculous levels of inflation, etc. People started to realize, hey, you know, the reason that our grandparents, great grandparents, great grandparents did so well in spite of the really hard times that came around those three generations is they worked together.

3:08.0

So all of a sudden, everybody wants to build community, build community. And the flaw in it, I often find is I want to build group community of people that are all into the things that I'm into and only the things that I'm into.

3:22.0

3:30.0

And there are things that you never existed that we build all the time, but they're usually technology, speech of engineering and things like that.

3:38.0

When you don't have a thing that involves living beings, you're probably not going to engineer it or build it.

3:46.0
