Happy Monday. This is, we're coming towards the end of July. I'll be honest, it's the end of what's been a working, this is my final semi-working vacation week. I know I haven't, I've been trying to do half in, half out of the month of July.

And you know what happens when you try to do half of anything.

You end up doing full of more things.

It's always hard to totally decompress when you've created a schedule that doesn't allow you to do that completely.

I'm not going to complain anymore about my first word problems.

But I'm coming towards the end of that. I'm looking forward to the month of August. For me,

I know some people view August as a vacation month. I don't. I will tell you this in the history of politics, I will say August have been some of the most consequential months

in my professional career. So I am one of those that has at this point figured out,

don't complain that August becomes newsworthy, sort of lean into it. I've come to learn that

actually June and July are actually the slower months of the summer,

even though they look busy.

It's August when everybody supposedly leaves that things get, at least in the world of political campaigns, et cetera,

get a little kooky.
