He is an SEC Academic Honor Roll student.

In 2021, he was a Bowerman semi-finalist, the NCAA outdoor champion in the 400-meter hurdles, and LSWA men's track athlete of the year.

In 2022, he was on the Bowerman Award watch list once again, back-to-back NCAA outdoor

champion, the 400-meter hurdles, SEC Academic Honor Roll.

He is a one-time all-S-E-C-C-C-Member, four-time U.S.TFCCCA, first-team All-American, and a six-time U.S.T.F-C-C-C-C-A, second-team All-American.

He has the number two outdoor 400-meter hurdles time in LSU history with 47.85 seconds, which is also the under-20 world record.
