Hey, what's going on? This is the Saturday Down South podcast presented to you by Texas Pete.

I am Connor McGera. Will, so, so much has happened since we last spoke on Monday morning.

Maybe they're all tied together, actually.

Maybe they could all be considered synonymous. I lost my voice

immediately after we recorded and also had the stomach bug work its way through our

house which was a whole lot of fun.

That's a separate issue, I guess.

I mostly have my voice back, so if I have some moments, just bear with me, show me a little bit of grace.

We're doing what we can.

DJ Durkin got yet another defensive coordinator job in the SEC,

his fourth different one, if you include Florida, Florida job as well.

I thought that was what we were going to talk about today,

but then we found out a couple of things that will be discussed

at length today.

Tennessee, the NCAA basically just decided let's take off the

gloves let's publicly shame each other to death over NIO rules and Tennessee

Chancellor Donnie Plouman basically went scorched to earth on the NCAA, which should really now have all of college

football in Tennessee's corner in this strange universe that we have created where it's kind of like all these big time college football

programs saying that the NCAA is in Compton and didn't set rules like it

probably should have and maybe this is going to lead to a breakaway with the

lawsuit that's going on. We had all that unfold this week.

First off, the typical NCAA move to try to make an example out of the University of Tennessee.
