we're going to dedicate the final part of this podcast to talking about Sunday Super Bowl,

which everyone's very excited for for some different

reasons. But before we get into some football talk, let's start off with you a really great

readback newsletter piece this week, which takes us behind the scenes of covering the biggest story

in Capitol Hill right now, which is a Republican plan on reconciliation. And I know you've been doing

great work covering what is going on in the House. So just take our listeners through what went on

this week on the Hill and how close or far House Republicans are to getting any sort of deal.

Yeah. So this week was a lot of fits and starts.

We came into the week where, you know, we were expecting there to be this goal of having

a markup of the budget resolution, which has reconciliation instructions and kind of starts

this whole process where Republicans can put together a bill and avoid a filibuster in the Senate,

do it without Democrats votes. That was the goal. And then that got punted. And we've seen this

real rush from House Republicans to try to show they can make some progress. And, you know,

we're still hearing a lot of skepticism and anxiety from, you know,
