You know, I was the only campaign reporter Punchful for a long time, and I was so happy

when you joined, and I have a fellow elections, someone is passionate about elections on the team, so it's good to have you.

And it's never a dull moment, and that was your redistricting item this week in the Reback newsletter,

was talking about all of the states across the country, Republican, Democrat,

east, west, north, south, everywhere in between who's trying to

redraw their house lines.

For the listeners at home, just give everyone an overview of what's going on with the new

maps and why now?

I mean, I feel like every week there is a new state that I didn't think could redistrict

or would redistrict that all of a sudden is getting ready to redistrict.

So that's what inspired my readback this week.

This really started in Texas when President Trump nudged the Texas legislature to redraw five seats to make them more Republican.
