It is October, and that means I can talk about Halloween

all month long.

If you don't like Halloween,

you're going to hate me for the next month.

Halloween is my jam.

I will find reasons to dress in costume

as many days as I can this month.

Usually I do more than one costume

and I'm all about special effects makeup. There was a teacher in high school who introduced me to the concept of latex.

Oh, fuck, that sounds so creepy.

I don't mean it in a sick twisted way.

I mean he showed me how to create prosthetics with latex and I was

hooked. I have been self-taught in special effects makeup ever since. I'll be throwing some

picks up on Twitter this month of my favorite makeup applications. Sometimes when I'm bored on a Friday night, I bring out my kit and just do my face. Yeah, I sort of need a life.

So last week, the weather in Philly was totally fucking twisted. It was like a monsoon for two days and I was downtown and I would see people step outside of buildings and attempt to open umbrellas.
