As I worked on this episode, I was in Cape May, New Jersey.

Yes, that's part of the month-long Festivist of my kid.

So if you're not from the area and you've never heard of Cape May,

go look at a map.

Now look at the very bottom of New Jersey and that

tiny little tip that sticks out, that's Cape May. It's called Exit Zero because the exit

number off the highway is actually Zero. I don't have too many Jersey listeners.

Twisted Philly actually has more listeners in the UK than I do in Jersey. So maybe the

Jersey peeps could start stepping up and showing me some love.

Thanks for listening to episode 9 get a grip. I really enjoyed recording that

episode and I love changing it up from true crime. If you can't tell I'm a

history nerd and it definitely comes out in this

podcast. When I do this show it's pretty off the cuff. I mean I have a ton of

research notes that I reference while I'm talking to all of you, but for the most

part this is like me sitting down with one of my

girlfriends or one of my guy friends and just shooting the shit. The story I'm

talking about today is a local story and it's local because the crime occurred about 20 minutes up the road from where I live and the murderer lived in Upper Marion which is where I live now.

This is not my hometown. I moved here a few months before my daughter was born in 2000.
