Hi, and we are here today to talk about episode two, the rat race, written by Julie Rottenberg

and Elisa Zzeritsky and directed by me, Michael Patrick King.

Okay.

We have to talk about the last moment of episode one, which I felt was dark and a little

mysterious and a little confusing.

So what we wanted to sort of give the audience in the beginning of the second episode was

classic Sex in the City. Classic.

Remember her? Here she comes. On the town, looking incredible. Right. So we start with Carrie

Bradshaw walking down the street, cobblestones, going to a bar. Dressed to the nines. Yeah, we really wanted the audience to know.

It's also this show, too.

And a lot of this episode is really sort of leaning in to the thing we loved when we wrote sex in the city, the thing we liked when we watched sex in the city, the sort of fun, singleness girl on the town kind of a show.
