Hey, what has to happen? What must happen before the rapture of the church takes place?

0:06.8

Is this something that is clear in scripture? Yeah, we're going to find out. Let me start this way,

0:15.2

if you would. The previous time together, I shared with you my personal experience, and you can check that out if you'd like regarding why and how the Bible had to direct me in where I landed on what is called eschatology, which by the way is so true about soteriology,

0:38.3

uh, isriology, um, dispensations is that word even in the Bible?

0:43.8

What about foreknowledge, predestination, justification, uh, glorification, sanctification,

0:50.6

all these things you have, I have to study and that is over our lifetime of discipline and being a student of the Word of God.

1:01.0

Look, I love you, but when people get all excited and all pumped up about their and this and that, and that than the other, I don't, I don't even let that ruffle me because neither should you.

1:13.6

Because a lot of people are on their journey, but they still have access to the internet or social media.

1:18.6

And they say things that they don't even know what they talk about.

1:22.6

1:26.6

1:29.2

job to disciple us in the scripture. We are to present ourselves to the Word of God and then

1:34.3

the Spirit of God, as Jesus promised us, will teach us all truth and guide us into all truth.

1:40.1

That said, let me start by saying this. Regarding the first coming of Jesus Christ, it's

1:47.0

important you know when that happened. That's right. The first coming of Jesus Christ already

1:54.1

happened. When did that happen? The Bible told us in the Old Testament what to look for and the Gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke,

2:02.8

and John recorded for us. The first coming of Christ, as predicted in the Bible, and recorded

2:09.6

in the New Testament, was Palm Sunday. Read Matthew chapter 23 and that will be very, very clear to you.

2:20.3

But that said, Zechariah 9-9 and many other passages of Scripture.

2:27.3

It is his official first coming.

2:30.3

By the way, it was announced in the Bible and in the event recorded, there's eyewitness accounts, including Jesus himself, make mention of that with assurance.

2:42.9

In fact, he says regarding the 118th Psalm, he says, you, Israel, you won't see me again.
