Hampson, and we're talking this season about some myths that we are busting here on the

Prophecy Prosy Pros podcast. And of course, we're always thankful for Harvest House publishers

free as charge. And we're so glad that you are a part of this podcast with us. Now, today,

we're going to look at a, something that is often confusing to people who have not spent time

really studying the subjects. And it's the

differences between the rapture and the second coming. And a lot of people get them confused. A lot

of people get them confused in terms of the timing. Some think they're just the same event.

I don't know. Maybe a beginning place, Todd would,

let's talk about them being the same event because there is a view which sort of, you know,

leans itself towards there called post-tribulationalism or the post-tribulational rapture.

Could you unpack that for just a moment as to what that really means?

Yeah, post-tribulation rapture means people, and this is a pretty large group of people,

believe that at the end of the tribulation period, will be raptured and then come right back

down.

Basically, that the rapture and the return is one single event.

And it's, you know, they, they highlight the fact that there's

no single passage where it's described as two separate events. So they, you know, you can,

you can understand why they come to that conclusion. And there's some other reasons as well.

They see, many of them see that the church as replacing Israel, and there's no distinction between the two.

That's another factor. But all that to say, it's another view within Christendom.
