My name is Jeff and normally I'm joined by my beautiful wife, Brittany, but she's not here today.

She's skipping out on the show. Everything's okay. She's fine. We're fine. But she's got a lot of stuff on her plates, a lot of things that she needs to get

done and just wasn't a great day for her. So I didn't want to miss this week. I wanted to make

sure we got an episode out. So I'm going to do my best to just do this thing solo. And I was pretty

nervous kind of press and play on the record button to talk. So we'll see how this goes. But no wife today.

We'll figure it out. It's a beautiful sunny day here in South Texas. It's not too hot. We're

officially in fall. It's spooky season around our neighborhood. You've seen people putting up

their Halloween decorations. So it feels like a festive time of year. Next week is supposed to be like in the 60s Fahrenheit

here in South Texas, which is awesome. It's been a long time since it's been that low. This past

week, it was humid and it was in the 90s and we're on the field and trying to play baseball

and corral all our kids. And it's just, it's been a struggle. But today is a beautiful day,

not just because of the weather, but also because today is the first day of the Major League

Baseball playoffs. And man, I've been looking forward to it. I've been building towards this day

for a long time. You know, in the evenings after we put our kids to sleep, Cole's usually the first one,

Coopin Cash, go down, and then Carter. Sydney, she's old enough. She just kind of puts herself

to sleep. But the rest of them, you know, we get them to sleep around 8.30 to 9-ish, most nights. So

at least about an hour, hour and a half to kind of chill out. So, you know, we'll finally kind of have some time to herself and just kind of sit in front of the TV and we'll turn it on.

And, you know, the last few weeks, I've been, I've been strata, I've had my strategy going.

I've been encouraging her to get all of her shows all in a row, all caught up, watch all the new episodes of Virgin River,

get all those sweet Magnolia episodes in, get up to date on love is blind, you know,

watch that episode of The Golden Bachelor, yeah, I've sat through all of those shows, all of those recent seasons.
