I want to talk about something that we've talked about a little bit before, I believe, and that is artificial intelligence, AI. And I want to talk about the ubiquity of AI, AI showing up everywhere. And this is a, this presents quite a challenge

because AI, the various manifestations of AI, artificial intelligence, are in many instances

very, not just convenient, but gloriously convenient. They're just a huge help. Now, I know that some

people are going to quarrel with me lumping some things under the heading of AI, but I think

it's fair. And I think what I'm going to do here is defensible. But there are mild forms of AI where you're writing an email

and you're saying, dear, dear Herbert, it was great to see and then it fills in, see you this last

weekend. And you say, huh, well, that's what I was going to write, I think. And so you just

hit enter and there you go. That's, I mean, that's helping you write your email. You wouldn't

ever want to say, Grock, write the first chapter of my thesis for me. That would be the sinful and wicked use of

AI. You wouldn't want to say to your sermon assistant in your Logos Bible software, I would like

an outline of Romans 828 through the end of the chapter.

I would like three points to emphasize, and I would like the points, those three points,

to alliterate.

Okay.

Now, AI will do that for you, but if you go, if you take that and you go preach it or you

go present it at a Bible study,

there's something seriously, deeply sinful about doing that.

It's just wrong.

But is it wrong to use AI or either the old cumbersome Precambrian method of a Google search

or asking AI, what year was Cyrus's

decree again? Now, that's just donkey work. It's just, it's being a research beetle. It's going
