All right, welcome to Gun Talk. Glad you could be with us. We do this every week because, well, it's fun. We talk

about guns and shooting and of course, the Second amendment is all part of the deal if you

way I am your host we have been following the advance, if you will, just the creeping march of constitutional

carries that goes across the states and we have, I think it's 27 states right now have some form of

constitutional carry and we're going to get one or two more before too long and

joining me to talk about exactly that Blake Meag, he is a state senator in the state of Louisiana,

and he is putting forth this. But Blake, before I do that, I gotta ask you the important stuff.

Are you doing any shooting these days?

Well, I just got off of a pretty vigorous campaign, so I didn't get to shoot as much as I like to in the year 23, but I'm just pulling the guns back out the safe and getting back to competing.

The last big competition I competed in was Thailand about a year and a half ago for the world

competition and I was fortunate enough to place fifth in the world there.

And I got a silver medal from the USA shooting team.

We play second.

I tell you what, the competition's getting younger.
