Fox. These are interesting times. We are living in a Supreme Court nomination fight,

presidential election and all that goes with that. House is up in full. The Senate is up in thirds and the pandemic

continues to cost this country lives and health and jobs and even sometimes it seems like hope. Hope has also been

something of a casualty in 2020. We're closing in on the one year anniversary of this almost of when the pandemic first hit our country.

One year is not a long time in the grand scheme of time, but we don't have the luxury of the grand scheme of time. We just have a more finite amount. So for us a year is long. It's long enough for 200,000 people

plus to lose their lives and countless others to be impacted and if the

projections are true for the next several months there will be even more

loss.

And there have been jobs lost and jobs yet to be lost and businesses lost and

businesses lost and those that will be but are hanging on barely now

a normal cycle of education for our sons and daughters

and our granddaughters and

grandsons and their teachers has been impacted and for those among you who are

spiritual or like to ask these kinds of questions. The word why does keep coming to mind. Why did this happen? Why is it still happening?

Why hasn't the virus been abated or subsided? Why is always the question for all with the most peril and

housing the most potential? Question of why. And then when will it stop?

You know, sometimes calamity and heartache and pain can be unifying.
