London after a day in what was really mourning and also gratitude but also a day of change.

The world has witnessed the funeral for a queen, a ritual that was never before seen on live television,

and for the very first time in most of our lives the

United Kingdom now welcomes a new king.

Here's how the Reverend David Hoyle, whose Dean of Westminster spoke of the Queen's legacy.

With gratitude, we remember her unswerving commitment

to a high calling over so many years as Queen and Head of the Commonwealth.

With admiration, we recall her lifelong sense of duty and dedication to her people.

With Thanksgiving, we praise God for her constant example of Christian faith and devotion.

With affection, we recall her love for her family and her commitment to the causes she held dear.

It's not only this country where people have been coming out to mourn the Queen,

but also around the world in Hong Kong.

This was the cue of people wishing to pay

their respects outside the British consulate there today. And in Paris for

instance a metro station was temporarily named Elizabeth II just for the day and in

Nepal Gurkha veterans who fought for the British Army held a Buddhist prayer ceremony

for the Queen in Kathmandu.
