1:02.3	Gallup asked parents and whatever caretakers to describe the overall quality
1:05.0	of their relationship with a child in their household.
1:10.9	Some interesting things came out of that.
1:14.7	It doesn't matter if it's a father or mother or the kid is a boy or a girl.
1:18.9	That seems to be unrelated to the parent's assessment of the overall quality of the relationship.
1:24.6	That means fathers and mothers evaluate relationships with their children similarly.
1:32.3	Measures of socioeconomic status, such as education, household income, race, ethnicity, do not predict
1:41.2	higher or lower quality of relationships.
1:46.2	Interesting.
1:54.0	But there are parental characteristics associated with the quality of their relationships with their child,
2:00.3	including parental marital status, genetic relatedness, and the quality of their relationship with their spouse.
