Best example, 2010, the year before the lockout, that was the final year of the 2006 CBA.

And every CBA since 93 had as the final year an uncapped year.

The idea was to give the teams an extra incentive to get a new CBA

done before the chaos of an uncapped year. Well, it later came out in 2012 or thereabouts that during the uncapped year, the teams were told,

this is how we're going to handle it.

And God forbid that Washington, Dallas, and I also think to a lesser extent the Raiders

and the Saints, dared to treat the uncapped year as uncapped, dared to take
