So, Adam, the Texans pick up the fifth-year option on Will Anderson and C.J. Stroud,

how are they prioritizing these foundational players?

Well, Hannah, no surprise in picking up the fifth year options. The first

priority will be to re-sign Will Anderson to a hefty new extension that makes him one of the top

paid pass rushers in all of football. Last offseason was the deal of the pass rusher. And Will

Anderson's expected to get a big new deal at some point this offseason before the season begins to make him one of the highest paid players in the game.

He is a priority.

Once you get him done, you can move on to CJ Stroud, who they also want to retain, who they also view as a big building block of their future.
