this study has the audacity to do is to actually suggest that the power of the resurrection,

if it truly has justified your spirit, and it was able to raise Jesus from the dead, it can

likely raise us from the dead. Meaning that we do not spend the rest of our lives in perpetual

sin if we truly experience the power of the resurrection. And we're talking about stumbles,

we're talking about mistakes. We're just talking about if you think about it, I guess a good

example would be where you go to 1 John chapter 3 and John says, no one, not some people, no one

who has ever truly encountered Jesus continues to sin. They don't live a life of perpetual sin.

John goes on to chapter 3 of saying, if you want to try to figure out who's with Jesus and who

still belongs to the devil, because the devil's been sinning from the beginning, it says, what?

Just look at how they live. If they're still living a life of perpetual sin, they belong to the devil.

If they're living a life that looks like they've actually been transformed by Jesus, and they

probably belong to Jesus, because this study says, if you and I have not been changed by the power of

Jesus Christ, it is not because of his inability to change us. It's because something's wrong between

us and Jesus. So last week, how many of you raised your head for glad last week's lesson is over.
