The 8th point of the background, the Calvinistic view of five points came to be summarized under the acronym

Tulip.

T, total depravity. We're going to take each one of these.

You unconditional election. L. limited atonement I irresistible grace P

perseverance of the Saints note person may embrace these five points because they are biblical while not embracing other things that John Calvin and the Dutch Reform Church endorsed.

For example, one may embrace Bel' baptism, like me, and renounce the idea of a state church like me.

So it's dangerous to call yourself a Calvinist because goodness most truly reformed as the term is often used would think a Baptist like me is just a fake reform. You haven't figured it out yet because John

Calvin baptized babies and John Calvin believed in a state church and so you can't be a real Calvin

and I say fine I don't care about being real Calvinist I just want to believe

the right things about what I have to believe about and on these five points I think the Calvinists got it right and

the Armenian has got it wrong, but we'll have to see if that is true by looking

at the Bible.

So let's summarize the differences.
