Zachariah 9. We have a single verse here that I'd like to draw your attention to that's

powerful and full of so much. We can spend weeks just talking about this single verse. But it's a

word of prophecy. So far in our study, we've been kind of tackling the eight visions of Zachariah.

And they've been quite kind of amazing and a little crazy until you really see the detail and what it means.

And then you realize, man, it's about the end times and prophecy and stuff like that.

Much of Zachariah is about prophecy, both of the first coming of Christ and also of the

second coming of Christ. And we have a little bit of both of that in this single verse of prophecy.

It's Zachariah chapter 9 verse 9. Now by the way, before I read this verse, some of you are like

maybe already saying, oh, you Athethie creakers you guys are into prophecy

and the answer is guilty is charged we are into prophecy because the bible speaks about prophecy

and if you read the whole bible um your one fourth of this book that we hold is bible prophecy

do you understand that i always marvel that there's churches and pastors that say,

well, we don't really do Bible prophecy because it's too divisive. Have you ever heard that one?

It's too divisive or too complicated or whatever. Why would we ignore part of the Bible because it's divisive?

The Bible's divisive. Jesus is divisive.

Jesus even taught, if you follow me, your mother, father, sister, brother, they're going to bail on

you if you follow me. Like sometimes following Jesus and being into his word, what causes division

sometimes? But we don't ignore important parts of the Bible just because people can't figure it out

or because they think it's divisive or too complicated.

Some people try to say, well, all of Bible prophecy has been fulfilled.

So it doesn't even matter.

Those sections of the Bible rip it out of the pages because it doesn't matter to you and I.
