verses 7 through 8 very interesting subject today i want to talk to you about the purpose and the

essence of prayer the purpose and the essence when something the essence of something is that that main ingredient

it's the very nature of a thing now i uh i've prayed wrong long enough to know what I'm talking about now. Amen? And so you're going to hear some things this

morning that will challenge your deep rooted religiosity. But before I taught this and what I'm teaching this morning I've spent a lot of time walking in it

and I understand what I have not understood because when you understand grace and truth

then everything else gets into place.

There is an atmosphere here.

I sense it already.

But this is going to really bless your life.

I meet people amazingly who say to me, I really don't know how to pray.

And I meet other people who think they know how to pray,

but they really don't know how to pray. And I'm not trying to tell you that this is the only way to pray, but I'm going to tell you that there's a, there's a better way to do

this. And so I'm going to use scripture along with some personal experience to kind of help you out,

and I'll start off by asking you this question. How many of you believe that there is power

in prayer? Would you raise your hands? Oh yes, amen.

Second question. How many of you get answers to all your prayer? Now what happened?

Isn't that interesting? Almost a hundred percent of people raised their hands and they said they believed
