Welcome to the Crazy Love Podcast. Many Christians put a high priority on the church, believing

and teaching the Word of God, but can we really claim to be standing for the truth without

confronting sin? In this message from his time at Cornerstone Church, Francis calls believers

to both hold up and live out the truth of God's Word and lovingly stand for the purity

of the body of Christ. You know, we're going to take a little break from the Book of Luke,

okay? Just for a couple of weeks, and the reason is is because we're going to make some changes

in the church. There are going to be some, you know, and if you've been a Cornerstone for

any period of time, you know that, well, what else is new? You know, what are you changing

now? But there's some things that we're going to change, but I'm not going to tell you

about them this week. So you've got to come back. What I want to do before, you know, we talk

about vision and direction and stuff that the elders have prayed through and thought through,

I want to make sure you understand the things that can't change at Cornerstone and make sure that

we're all on the same page as far as what are the distinctives of this place? What is this church

all about? Because we've got a lot of new people, you know, and there's new people every week,

and the ideas are we really on the same page here of what Cornerstone stands for, and that's

what I want to talk about this week. And some of these things may sound obvious, but in the world

that we live in, I just don't think anything's obvious in the church anymore. You guys know that

this is a Bible-believing church? Okay, okay, good. We're on the same page there. Okay.

And you understand that this is a Bible teaching church at every week that I'm going to be teaching

from this book. It's not just, hey, I think God wants to do this. It's, no, this is what his word

says. We teach this book, and that's something that cannot change. We stand for the word of God

here, and that's not an obvious thing. That's not obvious as you walk into a place that says
