episodes on Joffrey and Ramsey and so today I thought I would do an episode on Sander Klagen, otherwise known as the Hound.

Many people, many of people have asked me to do an episode on The Hound.

So here we go. I'm going to do a deep dive on him, his history

before the books and the TV show start, also his story once the books begin and the TV show begins.

And I will analyze his personality as we go because I think he has a lot of interesting

twists and turns in his history and his story that can inform us as to why he was the

way that he was and he was actually a very complex character. This is this

All right, Sandor Clegane, otherwise known as the Hound. Sandor Clegane is a member of House Klagan, which is a very close house to Kastrley Rock, which is near the west coast of Westros.

He is the younger brother of the current head of the household,

Sir Gregor Clegan, or the mountain that rides. He's five years older. Gregor is, the mountain is five years

older than the Hound. And both the Mountain and the Hound are considered to be two of the most fierce and dangerous fighters in Westeros.

The reason why he is nicknamed the hound is partially because he's fierce like a hound.

And he's also unquestioningly obedient to his masters like a dog would be.

And Klagen, the house symbol is three dogs, so that's another reason why he's called

the Hound. He is a large man, he's six foot six, same as the actor who plays him on TV, but he's not as big as his brother. His brother in the books is eight feet tall. And they sort of try to portray this in the TV show but just the
