14 hours in 1921, mass violence engulfed Tulsa, Oklahoma.

White rioters, white rioters.

is that black people had carved out a community for themselves and were upstanding citizens, family people.

They were thriving, doing well.

And they had created a little community of business and homes and the white people were not going to have that in Oklahoma.
