All right, Berdo, this is part two in our very lengthy and tangent-filled discussion about the

0:06.8

new Black Mirror episode, Joan is Awful. So let's get back to it. What do you say?

0:12.0

Let's do it.

0:13.0

This is the Psychology and Seattle podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Krakana. I'm a therapist and a professor.

0:17.4

My name is Berdo Kastagnan. I mean, you know what I do. So that's true.

0:21.9

All right, let's get back into it. When you watched Joan is Awful, because I feel like with Black Mirror,

0:29.0

it produces some kind of a feeling, like anxiety or concern about the future or

0:35.8

self-reflection. You know, it's designed to do that. It's the Black Mirror. It's supposed to

1:21.3

Of course, this is not with his permission. He gets no money from this, whatever.

1:24.3

And now, is Arnold someone who needs a lot of help in life? No, of course not. But that's not the

1:28.4

point. I feel like, but where's the authority over one's body image, voice, all these things?

1:35.7

So I see this and I'm like, oh god, oh god, oh god. And just like the horror of imagine if in reality,

1:41.4

someone could just serve your life and your stories and all your things, put them out there for

1:46.8

everyone to look at, laugh, cough, whatever. And you have no say over it. That was horrifying.

1:51.2

Yeah, I mean, that's already happening, right? Yeah. And I guess another thought that I had was,
