How are you liking your hackatosh? You've had it for what two years now?

So coming up to March will be three years for this one.

Wow, three years. And this is your main machine.

And what's it like? Are you having issues? Does it stop working? Can you use the third part or the

the built-in Apple services and all that stuff? Like how's all that work?

Everything, everything works. You have no problems at all. Everything works. So I've got Wi-Fi, I mean I've got hand-off. I've got you know I come downstairs my my

Apple watch on automatically unlocks the computer.

So wow, every little thing.

Everything works.

So I mean, again, it's been a learning process.

The biggest problem over the years was just being certain that I had the full performance of all

the USB ports and it's only been fairly recently that I learned about manually setting

USB port assignments. And it's kind of complicated but fun. It was really, really neat to do.

And I did it the most complicated way.

Now, apparently there's a slightly easier way,

but I just haven't had time to dive into it.

So now with every single I-Mac I have in the house I've manually

assigned the USB port assignments and then learned about i.O. Reg software it's fun

I mean that was just a it's and that points to the fact that I've always told people that if you're a you know if you want to be a hackantosh

owner or user builder it's not for the faint of heart.

I mean, it's not that hard, but on the other hand,

you know, there are people who have no idea how to run or manage just a regular Mac.
