Summary

There are many promises that Jesus has made to His followers. He will give them life, acceptance, reward, revelation, friendship with God, and joy. Furthermore, He also promised that they would experience trials. All these the church readily accepts and rejoices in. But there is one promise that is often ignored, ridiculed, and even mocked, and that is when Jesus says to His church, “I will come and receive you into Myself, so where I am you will be also.” It’s been 2000 years since Jesus uttered those words. Can we still really trust that promise? In his new teaching, “The Promise”, Amir Tsarfati reminds us that “He who promised is faithful.” Jesus will undoubtedly come to rapture His church to be with Him always. He emphasizes, too, that if we want to experience the joy of that great promise, we must personally know the Promiser.

0:35.4	A promise that often is being ridiculed, often is being ignored, hidden, fought against.
0:45.5	And this is an important, important message, I believe, because so many Christians are confused about that very promise.
0:55.1	There's a lot of confusion in the church regarding many things.
0:59.5	But this one is very critical, I believe, because this is really the blessed hope that we all should have in these very dark days.
1:08.9	You know, many countries are just falling apart as we speak right now.
1:15.4	One after the other, they collapse.
1:18.6	It's not only with COVID, it's way more than that.
1:23.4	Corrupt governments, tyrannies, places such as South Africa, we see great turmoil going on there.
1:35.2	It has nothing to do with COVID.
1:37.4	Places such as in Iran, and in Iraq, and in Lebanon, and Syria, places like Europe, England, France.
1:48.2	This chaos all around the world.
1:52.2	It seems almost as if we made it to the peak, and now we're on our way down, and we're spiraling down, and we're picking up speed.
1:59.8	And situation is getting out of control for so many governments, and then the radical elements are coming out of their holes.
2:07.0	Of course, they try to take over.
2:09.0	And there is a very deep lack of trust of people in their own governments.
