We have this confident hope to rest on.

Today, I want to read from a verse in Jeremiah.

Jeremiah is in the Old Testament and Jeremiah is a prophet in the Old Testament.

And Jeremiah 17, 7-8 is where we are going to find ourselves today.

If you've got a Bible turned to it, if not, it'll be on the big screen behind me.

Jeremiah 17, 7-8 says, blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord whose confidence is in Him.

They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream.

It does not fear when He comes.

Its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.

Today, as we close out this collection, I want to talk from the idea of the promise of confidence.
