Amen. Amen. Like I mentioned, it's the last week of this series by faith.

I think it's been a powerful series. Do you?

Do you have that section up there? Okay, strike two. Moving on.

I've been really taking it seriously. I've loved this series and I've really wanted it to like produce fruit in my life and make a difference.

And remember it. I hate to be that pastor that brags, but I actually had a chance this last week to walk in faith and take a big step.

And I did. Why, Stu, are you saying I don't want to be the pastor who brags? Are you nodding like I am a pastor who brags? Okay, go sit up there.

But I took a step by faith. I fixed my eyes, not what I saw, but what I did not see.

And I took a bold step, not sure how it was going to turn out because what I saw was on my gas gauge. I had one mile left.

You've been there? You live in there a lot right now.

Actually, let me ask who has never been there, not because this is a generosity moment. No, more who are the type A's that are like,

I'm never going to let my tank go below a quarter of a tank. Where are you at? Okay, we don't have a lot of responsible people in Comberland.

We're living in E. And I had one mile left and I was not close. I was by a lot of gas stations, but I wasn't close to my favorite gas station.

And my favorite gas station in Atlanta, my favorite gas station is Bucky's, if you know, you know. But I was 20 minutes from my favorite gas station where I could save like 30 cents.

And I was like, do I take the step or not? Does my car have what it takes? Is there a promise that I will get down 85 without traffic? No, that has never been promised.

But I went for it, guys. I mean, amen. Like, aren't you proud of me? I drove that 20 minutes, not sure if my car after it hit zero had 10 miles, had 20 miles for all I know it has a hundred miles and they're just following us the whole time, right?

Some of you actually know because you've run out of gas on the side of the road. But hey, Jesus store, I made it to the gas station. Come on, give God glory, you know.

That's the talk for today. No, not that part. How do we make decisions that are based on our faith, not faith in gas mileage or a gas gauge or a car.

Based on this promise that we have in Jesus, Hebrews, chapter 11, we've been talking about it, that we, if we want to walk by faith, if we want to please God, we must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
