podcast so Donald Trump the dictator or so he even promised at least for one day I guess the

question is how seriously is this one of those cases where we're supposed to

figure out do you take Donald Trump literally or seriously.

And I, look, there's a part of me,

and you'll hear this in my conversation later.

It's a part of me that's concerned about the hysteria,

that is concerned that there's a chicken little aspect right

sky is falling sky is falling sky is falling and you sort of numb people to when you

really need to use the term to when it really is about to happen and all of those things.

Yet at the same time, right, the very sobering preview of what another Trump presidency could look like that the Atlantic put together.

You have certainly the op-ed in the Washington Post by Robert Kagan that got a ton of circulation.

This is certainly in the ether of the intellectual wing of the Democratic Party,

and certainly understandably so. I mean, I've talked about a numerous times here.

There's certainly plenty of warning signs that the public, it does not

necessarily believe the democracy is, that the current form of this democracy is

working well for them. And that ought to be the message that we're all taking away from this rather than, because I think that the biggest mistake the left could be making here is saying look at that oh my God that and then

somebody pointing to them and saying well do you think you're the perfect

stewards of this democracy and then you end up on the defensive right this is for instance

this is a Biden campaign that is actively trying to keep one of its primary any primary

challengers from being able to file in Democratic primaries.

Right now Florida is one, there's about eight or nine states where the DNC has given this power
