It's hard to know. But there are certain things that we're doing as a people, as peoples's, which are probably not conducive to the long-term

survivability of our species. Are we really getting our heads and our arms around the challenges

that we face? Or are we squabbling and bickering and becoming tribal and silly? You know the answer

to that question. You can feel it deep down in your bones. You know that something's a little bit off.

You know that something's a little bit of rye.

That's why you listen to sane people like me.

Another sane person is Tim Urban, who has been on the show once before, and if you haven't listened to that, it's one of my favorite episodes still of this podcast, mind expanding, brain exploding, cosmic level shit.

It's called What's Our Problem, a self-help book for societies.

I inhaled the book. I adored it. I thought, this is fantastic. I want to talk to him. Without any further ado,

to noodle on the greatest questions that civilization faces. How to reconcile the woke with the

right and resurrect a spirit of liberalism that is convincing

and appealing to all I give you the one and only to murder.

I have been buried in trying to finish a book and now I have been buried in trying to finish a book, and now I have finished the book, so that is a nice development.

Yeah, that's better than the alternative of throwing your arms up in the air and going, fuck this thing.

I'm never going to get this done.
