since we have posed some of these questions to Cody Townsend, I thought that we were overdue

to have a proper conversation about gear and see exactly where his preferences and practices have maybe shifted.

And if there is a big consensus around some individual, well, we will then hit them up and

make it happen.

Okay, couple of notes.

First, last week on Gear 30, we told you about some changes that we've been considering

for our winter buyers guide.

And we have received a ton of responses from all of you.

So thanks to all of you who have taken the time to leave a comment on the website or to email us,

and we are, as we said, very much taking your thoughts and ideas to heart.

And I think we're going to have our answer soon here.

Maybe as soon as a week from this Friday.

So as soon as we have it all figured out, we will let you all know.
