Let's talk today about a very beautiful, very special privilege that we don't talk about enough. It does not get enough airtime. It does not dominate

our conversations enough. It doesn't dominate our thoughts enough. This privilege that is so special,

perhaps more special than any other, I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's simply being loved.

Does somebody love you? Really love you? Do you even just have one person in your corner?

Someone who wants good things for you, who roots for you, who provides

comfort to you when you need it, who may be, is that person that you call or text to remind

you of who you are when you've forgotten in a moment of despair or panic? Is there just one person who loves you? Maybe it's a romantic

partner, maybe it's a parent, a best friend, a co-worker, a pet? Is there one person who loves you,

who creates that emotional safety for you in your life. They almost feel like

this loving, warm hug, this safety net that if life goes, you know, in the wrong direction or

something unwanted happens, or you feel sad or scared or anxious, there's someone who you can

reach out to, someone you can hug, someone who'll say, look, let's go

for a walk, let's go for a drink, let's face time for a couple of hours, I've got time for you.

If so, my friends, you have great privilege. This changes everything and we take it for granted, don't we? I know that when I feel

loved and supported, decisions feel easier for me to make. Even risks I want to take, they feel safer.

I have more courage as a result. And frankly, life feels less lonely. You go through life, having witnesses

to it, people who'll listen to your stories, you know, answer those big questions that you

have with you, listen, pay attention and care. So if you have that, even with one person, one being, cherish it. You deserve it. And love is a privilege,

the ultimate privilege. Please don't overlook it in your life today. And to affirm at DME at Susie.
